Season 1, the first season of the biggest StarCraft 2 tournament in the world, with a total prize pool of 200,000,000 won, approximately $170,000. Made accessible world wide by GOMtv with commentary provided by Tasteless and Artosis.

• Opening match for Ro64 - 4th September 2010
• Round of 64 - 6th September 2010 - 14th September 2010
• Round of 32 - 15th September 2010 - 20th September 2010
• Round of 16 - 24th September 2010 + 27th September 2010
• Round of 8 - 28th September 2010
• Semi-finals - 29th September 2010 - 30th September 2010
• Finals - 2nd October 2010

Format:

The format will be single elimination.

• Ro64 - Ro8 - Best of 3
• Semi-finals - Best of 5
• Finals - Best of 7

Prize Pool:

• Winner: 100,000,000 KRW (aprox. $85,700 USD)
• Runner-Up: 30,000,000 KRW (aprox. $25,700 USD)
• Semi-Finalists: 10,000,000 KRW (aprox. $8,600 USD)
• Quarter-Finalists: 4,000,000 KRW (aprox. $3,400 USD)
• Round of 16: 2,000,000 KRW (aprox. $1710 USD)
• Round of 32: 500,000 KRW (aprox. $430 USD)
• Round of 64: 300,000 KRW (aprox. $260 USD)

Map Pool:

Blizzard's official 1v1 maps will be used, these are:
Blistering Sands, Desert Oasis, Scrap Station, Steppes of War, Xel'Naga Caverns, Kulas Ravine, Lost Temple, Metalopolis, and Delta Quadrant.

Up to semi-finals
Both players pick 2 maps they want excluded from the pool, then the maps are randomly chosen for each set.

Finals
Both players pick 1 map they want excluded from the pool, then the maps are randomly chosen.
